Our Story
This institute, founded in the year 2016, is the brain child of a Jadavpur University-IIT Kharagpur alumnus. Biplab Adhikary, the founder secured an All India Rank (AIR) 63 in GATE CE 2008 in his 3rd year of graduation from Jadavpur University. He carried out his M.Tech in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architecture from IIT Kharagpur (2009 – 11), from where he got placed in the PSU, Mazagon Dock Limited (MDL), Mumbai, under Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India and Bharati Shipyard, a leading private shipyard in India. He served MDL for over a year and worked as a Senior Engineer (Shipbuilding Design-Structural) in the project ‘Visakhapatnam-class next-generation guided-missile destroyers.’

Out of immense interest in academics and research, he left the prestigious job and taught in two degree engineering colleges in Kolkata. Subsequently, he got an opportunity to work on a project funded by Aeronautical Research and Development Board (AR&DB), DRDO, and convert it into Ph.D. from Jadavpur University.
In this entire process along with his 13 years of experience in teaching over 500 students for +2 and JEE mathematics, he realized the importance of simple demonstration and explanation of complex mathematical and engineering concepts. His main aim was to give shape to the career of the student at the farthest corner.
He started with a very small batch of students in Uttarpara, Hooghly, his hometown in 2016. Subsequently, it expanded to Jadavpur, near his workplace, and complete online mode in 2020 after the lockdown due to COVID. Since then the family of GATEit is growing and has reached various parts of West Bengal and neighboring Bangladesh. The students from classroom programs have qualified GATE to find themselves at premier institutes of India (top 5 IITs, Jadavpur University, top 3 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, etc.).
Next, he started a batch for West Bengal PSC Assistant Engineer (AE), 2020 on the demand of the students, covering classroom programs, mock tests to mock interviews. Out of this entire process, GATEit could produce 10 (ten) AEs.
At present, a crash course for West Bengal PSC Junior Engineer (JE) is ongoing for the 2022 notification along with all regular batches for GATE and Govt. job examinations.
The website and app are to provide a medium of such preparation, creating an umbrella for the pre-recorded contents, LIVE classes, mock tests, and mock interviews. The courses are designed to provide the most effective way of preparation for every type of student preparing a spectrum of technical examination.
